Access Statement for Longbar Farm

Introduction

Pre-Arrival
 
• Longbar Farm is in a rural location situated in a peaceful setting.

• The main train station is 10 minutes by car.
• A collection service can be arranged from Sherborne station with prior notice.
• There are several local taxi companies both in Sherborne and Wincanton.
• Contact is by telephone or email. 

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
 
• Please advise time of arrival so that we can be sure we are here to welcome you.
• There is ample room on the block paved drive for up to 6 cars with marked bays. The surface is level and there is a small step up to the front door.

 Public Areas - General (Internal)
 
• The guest dining room has a wooden floor with short pile fitted carpet to the lounge, stairs (12) and guest bedrooms and vinyl flooring in bathrooms.
• The house is centrally heated throughout but thermostats are fitted in all rooms which can be adjusted. 

Outdoor Facilities
 
• There is a patio with 3 steps leading to a large lawn area for guest use.
